WHAT WE DO
Amplified Miami envisions people of all ages coming together to support talented youth in the Greater Miami Area, including bands and solo acts, in the ultimate goal to donate money to the Little Kids Rock non-profit charity organization.
We recruit quality acts to play at distinct venues all over the city for Miami audiences. All proceeds for each event go to the Little Kids Rock organization.
Over the past 12 years, the Little Kids Rock organization has given more than 300,000 under-served schoolchildren across the nation access to modern band music classes and brand new instruments at no cost to the students, teachers, or school districts.
The organization trains public school teachers in teaching music classes and donates all of the instruments and educational resources they need to ensure that their kids receive a quality music education.
Instead of just donating instruments like guitars, drums and keyboards, Little Kids Rock aims to build lasting music programs in which students can not only receive a basic music education, but also express themselves in a way that they never had the opportunity to before. The program allows kids to perform, improvise and compose songs with genres such as rock, pop, blues, hip-hop, country, reggae and R&B.
